DESCRIPTION

AMCI offers a variety of network interfaces and controllers for industrial control applications.

The NEXUS four channel LDT interface provides absolute position and velocity data directly through a network connection. The four LDT channels can be configured to accept sensors that output either start/stop or PWM signals. By selecting a special software option, the NX2C4_-08 can interface to multiple magnet sensors (up to 16 magnets per sensor), a necessity in metal slitting, paper, and lumber applications.

The maximum position resolution of the NX2C4_ LDT interface is 0.001". The position data is updated every 2ms and the velocity update is selectable for either 24ms or 160ms. The NX2C4_ provides complete diagnostic information for both the sensor and controller including transducer and module errors.
