Bringing LDT position sensor data into the ControlLogix PLC has never been easier! AMCI's (2) channel 7252 LDT interface card can directly interface to two magnetostrictive sensors with PWM, control pulse, or start/stop signals.

AMCI's LDT Interface Card is a magnetostrictive linear displacement transducer (LDT) based module that incorporates Allen-Bradley licensed technology for guaranteed compatibility with A-B Series 1756 I/O chassis. Plus, it's a direct interface to today's most popular LDT sensors, including Balluff, Ametek, Gemco, MTS, and Turck.

AMCI's 7252 card monitors machine position and delivers continuous absolute position data to the ControlLogix processor down to 0.001" or 0.10mm resolution. The module also returns velocity data, based on the position scaling in counts per second, and transducer diagnostics. System Integrators and PLC programmers will value the module's simplicity and flexible performance. If required, the module can use the coordinated system time (CST) to generate an interpolated position data value for high speed applications, and latch inputs are available for capturing the position data value.
