Stepper Motor Driver - 4.0
Arms (115VAC) |
The SD17040B 4.0 Amp stepper motor drive has the ability
to interface to any controller that produces Step and Direction
or CW/CCW pulses. The inputs accept differential line driver
signals or can be connected to transistor type outputs with
the use of current limiting resistors.
The SD17040B 4.0 Amp stepper motor driver is a self-contained
stepper motor drive with its own power supply, full and half
step sequencer, two switching amplifiers, and opto-isolation
circuits.
The SD17040B also has Idle Current Reduction circuitry that
allows it to automatically reduce the motor current when the
motor is not turning.
Phase current, full or half step motion, and idle current
level are all selected by a series of DIP switches accessible
on the top of the SD17040B.
The SD17040B will interface with AMCI's NEMA 23 and NEMA
34 stepper motors. These motors have been tested and selected
to perfectly match the electrical requirements of the SD17040B.
