AMCI DC25 Incremental Digital Single-turn Rotary Shaft Encoder

FEATURES:

  • IP67 rating
  • Field programmable output resolution
  • Powder coated aluminum housing for superior durability
  • Competitively priced
  • Ideal for high-shock applications - withstands mechanical shock & vibration

DESCRIPTION

The DC25 incremental digital output DuraCoder is the only incremental digital rotary shaft encoder you will ever have to purchase.

Unmatched durability, competitive pricing, and AMCI's exclusive field programmable design save customer's time and money.

Customers can eliminate the competition's confusing list of fixed output resolution encoders by choosing the Incremental DuraCoder. Featuring field selectable configurations, ranging from 2 to 4096 counts per turn, the DuraCoder enables customers to minimize their rotary encoder inventory, while also affordably stocking a variety of output resolution configurations for any automation environment.

The DC25 incremental digital rotary shaft encoder produces the standard quadrature output signals allowing for both unidirectional and bi-directional operation. The DuraCoder also produces a marker pulse for homing or turns counting applications. Output types include sinking, sourcing, or differential line driver. Package styles include flange or servo with side or end connector.

ORDERING INFORMATION:

AMCI DC25 Incremental Digital Single-turn Rotary Shaft Encoder Ordering Guide

Generate your incremental digital rotary shaft encoder part number by using this helpful ordering guide. Starting from left to right, use the following diagram and table to choose the desired options. Each gray box must contain one or two alphanumeric characters. When ordering, you should know...

  • The PRGM Field Programmable Output Scaling option is standard and is available at no additional cost.
  • Units with the PRGM Output Scaling type use dip switches to allow the user to field select the pulses per turn. Units where a numerical Output Scaling is specified will have the pulses per turn permanently set at the factory.
  • Customers concerned with availability should request lead times on units with both the side and end connector location options.
