Job Description: Accounting Clerk

Advanced Micro Controls Inc. (AMCI) has an opportunity for an accounting clerk to join our company.

Daily Responsibilities:

Check voicemail/Answer phones/Redirect calls as needed
Post paper check receipts
Resolve any discrepancies regarding short payments, credits, deductions
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries (Copy of invoices, credits, etc.)
Print and post AP Invoices
Match receivers to invoices for AP
Verify and enter customer invoices
Filing

Weekly Responsibilities

Examine AR Aging Report
Follow up with customers regarding late payments, discrepancies, etc.
Update customer notes in Business Works
Review AP bills/receivers and advise AP of any documents greater than 7 days old

Skills and qualifications:

Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Sound knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
Computer skills on MS Office with experience in working with accounting software and databases
Strong time management and organizational skills
High attention to detail with a passion for accuracy
